C-I are working alongside Islington Heritage, Islington residents and the LGBT community to collect, archive and interpret the unique LGBT heritage of the Borough of Islington.
This project is the first of its kind - an archive constructed with the drive to be public facing, accessible, cross-referencing with other collections and co-created with the local community.
Through a collaborative process of consultation, workshops and Content+UX testing, we will be developing a wealth of content that will populate the Digital Landscape - enabling people to access this heritage and collection on the streets, in the places where the stories happened.
Accompanying this will be a range of activities, events, exhibitions and collection days, youth theatre and a whole lot more.
