3D Photography

3D Photography

Today we had a very interesting session with Ethel Davis, the creator of 3D Photo Library. Ethel has been working with 3D imaging for some time now and is working to take the medium out of the gimmicky realms of cereal boxes and Hollywood movies and reposition her work in the fine art world.

Ethel had heard about our new work relating to the future of print and the changing relationships and experiences occurring between person, print and digital.

Though it is very early stages we see that there are ways that 3D photography could give people a pretty unique experience and way of looking at places they have been to or wish to visit.

One phrase especially caught our imaginations, a paraphrasing of a Martin Scorsese via Ethel; 3D photography takes you into a world that doesn't really exist.

Let that sit in your minds and see where it takes you...

It's too early to tell where this might lead in the future, but for now, we reccommend checking out Ethel's work (www.3dphotolibrary.com) and stay tuned for more as this story progresses.
