DISCOVER KING’S CROSS THE DIGITAL WAY

City-Insights' digital heritage trail at King's Cross is launching over the bank holiday weekend as part of theCurious? Knowledge festival.  We're proud to have developed this with Argent and the King's Cross Partnership and delighted that it's going to be a permanent part of their offer to visitors.

With a heritage that stretches back to Queen Boudicca and the Romans, King’s Cross has developed a truly 21st century way of telling its story - a digital heritage trail!

King’s Cross is experiencing dramatic change and is set to be London’s newest postcode N1C at the heart of the Knowledge Quarter. City-Insights have created a multimedia trail that you can access on your smartphone or tablet. For free!

A map, available at the Visitor Centre, guides you around 11 hotspots. At each spot you will discover stories about the place where you are standing. Uncover the past through memories, images and video, or glimpse what the future has in store through architects’ renders. There is even a kids Quiz Trail with a small prize for finishing.

Whether you are just passing through, spending the day splashing through the fountains in Granary Square or relaxing in Lewis Cubitt Park you can uncover the 2,000 years of history, or look into the future, all with the power of your phone or tablet.

Get your trail map at the Visitor Centre of go to www.KXplorer.com/Past to get started.
