Ashmolean Museum

The Ashmolean Museum in Oxford hosted a temporary exhibition of the work of Xu Bing, a modern Chinese conceptual artist and calligrapher.

The works on display were complex and challenging for non-specialists in classical calligraphy. Working with the Museum’s experts and the artist’s own studio archive, we created multimedia support for specific information panels and works that featured curator talks, interviews with Xu Bing himself, and explanations of technique and concept.
